With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louis Edward Garrett of Glasford, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph and Norma Lois Garrett (Dittmer); and his sister Beverly Verardo. He is survived by: his wife LaVonne I. Stroble; his daughters, Michelle May (Jim) of Glasford and Kathy Wernowsky (Lester) of Glasford; his granddaughter Rachel Abrams (Dalton) of Glasford; his great grandchildren, Hayden Abrams and Avery Abrams; his stepgranddaughters, Sarah Sandall of Pekin, Alisa Dively (Joe) of Pekin and Christa Hanna (DJ) of Chandler; and his sister Shirley Adkins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the family for an educational fund established for his great-granddaughters.
