It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Newton (Gladstone, Illinois), born in Aledo, Illinois, who passed away on April 10, 2020, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herald William and Barbara Ann Newton (Bedford). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Holford Smith of Gladstone, IL; his children, Charles Newton (Lora) of Monmouth, IL, Brady Smith (Parrish) of New London, IA, Brandy Smith (R. K.), Nicole Morgan (Mike) of Ringgold, GA and Lacy Link (Jason) of Corunna, MI; and his siblings, Teresa Lundeen of Oquawka, IL, Dorothy Hainds (Rusty) of Oquawka, IL, Dianna Higgins (Dennis) of Oquawka, IL, Brenda Bigger (Danford) of Oquawka, IL and Larry "Sam" Newton (Jody) of New Boston, IL.. He is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
