He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Eddie" and Opal Mae Neff (Bristow); his brother Orval Neff; his grandson Patrick Grider; and his great grandchild Hadley Grider.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Brennan Neff; his children, Carla Mayernick (John) of Girard, Mike Neff (Denise) of Girard, Jill Grider of Girard, James Neff of Girard, Lisa Fouts (Steven) of Girard and Tracy Bertolino (Mark) of Virden; his grandchildren, Michael Neff (Jenny), Stephanie Daley, Shawn Mayernick (Kate), Gigi Mayernick, Matthew Grider (Elizabeth), Erika Asmar (Christopher), Adrienne Fouts, Kyle Fouts, Blake Bertolino and Bridget Bertolino; and his siblings, Glenn Neff (Norma) of Jacksonville, Eileen Walk of Girard and Dorothy Klaus of Girard. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
