He was predeceased by: his wife Susie (Leona Stains); and his parents, George Mitchell and Leona Louise Swigart (Aurand). He is survived by: his daughters, Suzanne Tichinel (Jesse) of Middleburg, FL, Laura Wiles (Daryl) of Seymour, MO, Carolyn Wetter (Matthew) of Festus, MO and Janine Cuddy of Hillsboro, MO; and his siblings, Miriam Wachob (Jerry) of Ephrata, PA, Harold Swigart (Nancy) of McClure, PA and Jane Wagner (Don) of Providence, PA. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Camp Emmanuel Astoria, Illinois.
