He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell H. McElfresh and Hazel Irene McElfresh (Belk). He is survived by: his wife Darline McElfresh of Girard, IL; his children, Chris Velten (Nick) of Girard, IL, Rich McElfresh (Amy) of Girard, IL and Stacey Flowerree (Jeff) of St. Charles, MO; his grandchildren, Connor McElfresh, Jorey, Jalen Flowerree, Sloane Flowerree, Nicholas Velten (Cadee) and Amanda Velten; and his great grandchildren, Destiny, Zoie, Bayden, Nicholas and Demee.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the First Christian Church (700 W Center St, Girard, IL 62640).
