She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Still and Christina Still (Kaufman); and her husband Gerald Vance. She is survived by: her children, Michael Vance of Girard, IL, Karen Williamson (Bob) of Virden, IL, Daniel Vance of Auburn, IL, Lori Pritchett (George) of Ann Arbor, MI, Dennis Vance (Kim) of House Springs, MO and Judi Shull (Merle) of Girard, IL. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Macoupin County Historical Society or American Diabetes Association.
