It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Maybelle Ball of Girard, Illinois, born in Webster Groves, Missouri, who passed away on May 3, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer William and Regina Groth (Franke); her stepmother Margaret Mary Groth; and her sister Joan Curran (Karl). She is survived by: her husband Karl R. Ball; her children, Karla Ball of Girard, IL, Kim Ball (Connie) of Virden, Kenneth Ball (Patricia) of Show Low, AZ, Kevin Ball of Girard, IL and Keith Ball (Ildiko) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; and her siblings, June Horton (Robert) of Maryland, Elmer William Groth (Linda) of St. Louis, MO, Jan Synder (Donald "Duke") of Springville, CA and Harry Arndt (Patricia) of Springville, CA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
