He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Peters and Clara C. Peters (Garver); his wife Ellen I. Page; his son Dan Peters; his siblings, Paul, Marion (Helen), Max (Alice), Myron Peters (Helen) and Louise Peters; and his brother-in-law Billy Jones.
He is survived by: his close friend Pat DeFevers of Virden; his children, Randy Peters (Sheryl), Rick Peters (Carol) and Teri Peters (Jim Stayton) of Girard; and his sister Peggy Jones. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
