With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Lapiana of Girard, Illinois, who passed away on July 25, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Lapiana and Stella Lapiana (Demenov); and his sister Valdonna Lapiana. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Krotz; his children, Michael Lapiana of Plainfield, IL, Joseph Lapiana (Katie) of Joliet, IL and Christy Lapiana-Black (James) of Carlinville, IL; his grandchildren, Jackson, Leah, Lilah, Lexi, Landon and Aiden; and his brothers, Salvatore Lapiana of Washington Township, MI and Anthony Lapiana (Phyllis) of Bloomfield, MI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
