She was predeceased by : her parents, James Malone and Frieda Malone (Kretzer); and her grandson Andrew C. Chance. She is survived by : her husband Wally Pocklington of Girard, IL; her children, Lora Striplin (Lindell) of Riverton, IL, Charles "Bogey" Chance, Jr. of Carlinville, IL and Jerry Lynn (Lindsy) of Fordsville, KY; her stepdaughters, Tracy Cummings of Standard City, IL and Marla Pocklington of Albuquerque, NM; and her siblings, James Malone (Bertha) of Odin, IL, Donald Malone (Karen) of Carlinville, IL, Charles Malone (Linda) of Rye, TX, Everett Malone (Vicki) of Hettick, IL, Billie Busby (Jerry) of Nilwood, IL and Mary Sue Eller of Stanford, IL. She is also survived by six grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; several great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the Macoupin County Historical Society or to the family for donations of their choosing.
