She was predeceased by: her parents, Curtis Deatherage and Iva Deatherage (Hamner); her husband Raymond L. Hays; her great grandchild Reddick Powell; and her sister Dorothy Head-Eades.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Burnett of Girard, IL and Curt Hays (Patty) of Girard, IL; and her grandchildren, Phil Burnett (Beshka), Chad Burnett (Sara Millward), Nick Hays (Shannon), Taylor Hays (Kristin) and Katie Burrow (Tylor). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
