With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas L. Pitchford (Girard, Illinois), born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on October 20, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Pitchford and Jane Pitchford (Hall). He is survived by: his wife Cecilia "Cec" Royal; his sons, Erick (Chrissy Pitchford) and Tyler (Janna Pitchford); his grandchildren, Lucas, Madelynn, Meredith and Benjamin Pitchford; and his stepgrandchildren, Madison Coleman (Adam), Zane and Preston Bradley. He is also survived by many other extended family and friends.
