He is survived by: his wife Verna Kahl of Girard, IL; his children, Samuel Kahl of Auburn, IL, Delbert Kahl, Jr. (Sherry Johnson) of Virden, IL, Cindy Rose (Tony) of Girard, IL and Ralph Kahl of Virden, IL; and his siblings, Bob Kahl (Ruth) of Woodburn, IL, Sue Bryant (Mitch) of Gillespie, IL, George Kahl of Jerseyville, IL, Walt Kahl (Shirley), Wilma Gibson (John) of Gillespie, IL, Judy Rosentreter of Staunton, IL, Edith Reed (Pat) of Shipman, IL, John Kahl of Carlinville, IL, Jim Kahl (Leola Still) of Carlinville, IL and Don Kahl (Margie) of Carlinville, IL. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
