She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Wolff and Mathilda Hauschild Wolff; her husband John C. Nitz; her daughter Marjorie Nitz; and her brothers, Melvin Wolff and Ivan Wolff. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorials are suggested to First Baptist Church of Gillespie.
