She was predeceased by: her parents, John Smith and Maude Smith (Gholson); her husband William A. McCourt, Sr.; her son Terry McCourt; and her siblings, Charlie Smith, Joe Smith, Bobby Smith, Alma Jean Smith, Dorothy Whitlock, Ted Smith and Betty Vogel.
She is survived by: her children, William A. McCourt Jr. (Vicki) of Gillespie, IL, Debbie Deck (Norman) of Carlinville, IL, Michelle Hagan (Buddy) of Plainview, IL and Tracy Shaw (Jeff) of Gillespie, IL; and her siblings, Sally Grimes, Barbara Creasey (Carl) of Alton, IL, Donald Smith, Mel Smith (Bobbie) of Granite City, IL and Judy Jones (Doug). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren.
