He was predeceased by: his parents, Nello J. Marasti and Leona Salter Marasti; his brother Julius Marasti; and his brother-in-law Robert Dumez. He is survived by: his spouse Beverly Marasti of Gillespie, IL; his daughter Lisa Evans (Peter) of Jerseyville, IL; his grandchildren, Emily Ann Stark (Taryn) of Monona, WI, Alexandra Irene Evans of Maplewood, MO and Matthew Nelson Evans of Jerseyville, IL; his great grandchild Rory Oliver Stark; his sister Jeanette Dumez of Gillespie, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Janice and Mike Mathis of Gillespie, IL. He is also survived by 3 nieces.
Family asks that COVID guidelines are followed including mandatory masks. Due to COVID, no luncheon will be held.
Memorials are suggested to Masses, SS Simon & Jude Church, Gillespie or St. Francis Holy Ghost School, Jerseyville.
