We are sad to announce that on April 17, 2023, at the age of 81, Nancy F. Schmidt of Gillespie, Illinois, born in Alton, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Langendorf and Wilma Langendorf (Henke) of Midway. She is survived by: her children, Weye Dean Schmidt (Nancy) of Gillespie, IL and Lori Jean Hamilton (Schmidt) of Edwardsville, IL.; her husband Weye Harold Schmidt of Gillespie, IL; her sister JoAnn Matevey (Jim); her grandchildren, Adam W. Schmidt (Mackenzie), Erika M. Schmidt, Amanda L. Schmidt, Emily G. Schmidt, Jessica M. Hamilton and Mitchell J. Hamilton; and her great grandchildren, Weston W., Addalyn J. and Hattie F. Schmidt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
