It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lindia M. Smith of Gillespie, Illinois, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Crocker and Dona Gillam Crocker; her husband Harold Dean Smith; and her son Harold I Smith. She is survived by: her children, David Smith (Tracy) of Gillespie, IL, Barry Smith of Gillespie, IL and Lori Sneed (Joe) of Glen Carbon, IL; her grandson Randy Sneed of Glen Carbon, IL; and her siblings, Frances Kalbfleish (Richard) of Pevely, MO and Gary Crocker (Barbara) of Russellville, MO.. She is also survived by several granddaughters, several great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kravanya Funeral Home (203 E Elm St, Gillespie, IL 62033). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Macoupin County Animal Shelter.
