Jack Charles Wilson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jack Charles Wilson of Gillespie, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 5, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jack Charles Wilson to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wilson and Margaret Hollis Wilson Taylor; his stepfather James Taylor; and his brothers, Andrew Wilson and James "Jeep" Taylor.
He is survived by: his spouse Elfrieda Wilson (Johnson) of Gillespie, IL; his children, Loretta Sarti (Steve) of Gillespie, IL and Craig Wilson (Diane) of Litchfield, IL; his grandsons, Jeremy Sarti (Shannon), Joseph Sarti (Angie), Jackson Wilson and Cooper Wilson (Katie); his great grandchildren, Rylee Sarti, Hunter Sarti and Cheyenne Sarti; and his sisters, Judy Cunningham of Godfrey, IL and Sandy Szkutnik of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Zion Lutheran Church (1301 N State St, Litchfield, IL 62056). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to Zion Lutheran Church of Litchfield, or Zion Lutheran School of Litchfield.
