He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Komnick and Marion Komnick (Eldred); his wife Linda Gay Komnick (Fields); and his brother Phil Komnick. He is survived by: his daughter Barbara Harrison (Michael "Mick") of Gillespie, IL; his grandson Zachary D. Myers of Missouri; his great grandchildren, Zachary D. Myers, Jr. and Zillon Myers; his brothers, Mack Komnick (Rita) of Mesa, AZ and Gerald Komnick (Rhonda) of Clinton, IL; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Komnick of Carlinville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
