He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter G. Hammann and Cecil F. Wills Hammann; his son Leo Hammann; and his siblings, Gerald Hammann and Edna Pasquale.
He is survived by: his children, Javonne Harbaugh of Gillespie, IL and Mark Hammann of Carlinville, IL; his stepchildren, Pamela Russell of Carlinville, IL and Robert Russell (Dawn) of Arnold, MO; and his sister Erlyn Hutton of Carlinville, IL.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church (107 W Elm St, Gillespie, IL 62033).
