We are sad to announce that on October 23, 2022, at the age of 65, Michael Stevenson of Gilberts, Illinois, born in New London, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Eric Stevenson and Judith Stevenson; his wife Karen Morehead; his children, Andrea and Eric; his siblings, Jonathan Stevenson (Sharon Butler), Anne Stevenson-Yang (Zhi Fang Yang), Margot Stevenson and Philip Stevenson; his nephew Sam Stevenson; his niece Lucy Stevenson; his step-niece Lena Curland; and also, Marc Morehead (Marcia) of Falls City, Kristine Hansen-Cain (Mike) of Omaha, Bruce Morehead (Karen) of Erie, CO and Amalia LaViolette (Richard) of St. Louis, MO.
No flowers please. The family asks instead that memorial donations be made to Valley Avenue Baptist Church, where Kirk's son Eric is a member.
