We bid farewell to Peter J. Hartford of Gibson City, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 12, 2025 at the age of 85. Peter touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hartford and Leone Knapp Hartford; his wife Joyce Robb; and his brother Bill Hartford. He is survived by: his siblings, Thomas Hartford of Gibson City and Suzanne Martensen (Robert) of Bayles Lake, Loda.; his nieces, Kathryn Martensen (Brent Rasmus) of Champaign, Julie Martensen (Jason Colwell) of Chicago and Heather O'Donnell of Skokie; his great-nephews, Elliott Colwell, Lennox Colwell, Jamison Rasmus and Lucas Rasmus; and his cousins, Jack Hartford, Jill Hartford and Bob Kennedy.
A rosary was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Rosenbaum Funeral Home (925 IL-47, Gibson City, IL 60936). Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church (534 N Wood St, Gibson City, IL 60936).
