Mae Gardner Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2023, at the age of 99, Mae Gardner of Gibson City, Illinois, born in Colfax, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo F. Johnson and Lillian M. Johnson (Leonard); her husband Martin E. "Gene" Gardner; her sons, Geary and Mike; her grandson Martin; and her siblings, Irvin, Leon and Lucille Morgan.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Case of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, Timothy Pam, Gregg Gardner (Peg) of Danvers, Patrick Gardner of Schyler and Sean Gardner (Sherry) of Gibson City; her sisters, Ellen Ann Nance of Washington, IL and Shirley McGimpsie (Jim) of Arkansas; and her sister-in-law Kay Johnson of Washington, IL.. She is also survived by Fifteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
