She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Bossingham and Elmira Bossingham (Swope); her husband Vernal Lahr; and her siblings, Edwin Bossingham and Esther Bossingham Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Lahr (Aneita) of Gibson City, Elaine Lahr Cunningham of Minonk and Terry Lahr Wingate of Omaha, Nebraska.; her sister Lorene Anderson of Normal, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Josh Matthews (Kara), Jeff Lahr (Daniele), Sean Cunningham (Christine), Katelyn Wingate and Jacob Wingate (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Caleb Matthews, Hannah Matthews Stanford (Lane), Joy Matthews, Luke Matthews (Kalynn), Josiah Matthews, Micah Matthews, Lilly, Sawyer Lahr, Brayden and Kyra Cunningham.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rosenbaum Funeral Home (925 IL-47, Gibson City, IL 60936). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. She lived through TWO pandemics - the Spanish Flu in 1918 and COVID in 2020!
