He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James G. Nelson and Charlotte Davis Nelson; his former wife Carolyn Sue Donoho; his wife Sue Nelson of Gibson City; his daughter Penny Barnett (Larry) of Gibson City; his grandchildren, Amanda Scribner (Jason) of Sibley and Jimmy Barnett (Natalie) of Gibson City; his great grandchildren, Brooklyn, Ashlyn and Landon; his sister Janet Horton of California; and his daughter Dorie.
