Doris I. Punke Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris I. Punke of Gibson City, Illinois, who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Doris I. Punke to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Sheehan and Esther Sheehan (Swan); her husband Fred; and her siblings, James Sheehan, Marie Decker and Wanda Sheehan.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Punke (Sheila) of Shorewood, Minnesota and Heidi Brown (Dave) of Elliott; her grandchildren, Alyssa Vink (Ryan), Heather Punke (Adam Kunkel), Ross Brown, Darrin Brown and Haley Brown; her great grandchildren, Owen, Rhys Vink and Avery Kunkel-Punke; and her siblings, Alyce Seibring of Paxton and Jon Sheehan of Paxton.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A memorial service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gibson City United Methodist Church (206 E 10th St, Gibson City, IL 60936).
