She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaiah Frank and Florence E. Broche Burton; her husband Joseph G. McDermed; her sons, Joseph and Ricky; and her siblings, Earl Dean, A. Frank Burton, Gerald Eaton and Peggy Garard.
She is survived by: her siblings, Bob Eaton of Gibson City and Linda Carlton of Gibson City. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
