We bid farewell to Anja E. Strebeck of Gibson City, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 16, 2025 at the age of 49. Anja touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Anja may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Anja touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her father Robert John. She is survived by: her mother Antje Weber Strebeck of Berea; her children, John Strebeck of Champaign, Ryan Strebeck of Gibson City, Shawn Schlickman of Foosland, Avery Schlickman of Gibson City and Roy Schlickman of Gibson City; and her siblings, Heidi Walls (Danny) of Gibson City, Rudiger Strebeck (Marcy) of Berea and Robert Erik Strebeck of Gibson City.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Gibson City Methodist Church.
