It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Rita T. Nordhaus of Germantown, Illinois, born in Trenton, Illinois, who passed away on September 25, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Rev. Henry J Fischer; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Theising, Von Wheeler and Arlo Millican. She is survived by: her husband Franklin Nordhaus of Germantown; her children, Karen Knackstedt (Allen) of Alhambra, Keith Nordhaus (Jana Robinson) of Germantown and Gary Nordhaus of Germantown; her grandchildren, Molly Nordhaus, Nicole and Brady Knackstedt; her siblings, Joan Theising of Germantown, Rev. Adrian Fischer of Monroe, LA, David Fischer (Bonnie) of Trenton and Paul Fischer (Linda) of Collinsville; and her sisters-in-law, Barbara Nordhaus (Shirley Janes) of Ft. Meyers, FL and Pat Millican of Sterling.

Memorials may be made to Mater Dei Catholic High School, Heartland Hospice, or in the form of Masses and will be received at the funeral home.
