He is survived by: his children, Brenda Hellige (Steve) of Breese, Douglas Dierkes (Jennifer) of Bloomington, IL and Craig Dierkes (JoAnn) of Longwood, FL; his grandchildren, Kristine Hellige (Taylor Beckmann), Matthew Hellige (Brooke Johnson), Haley Dierkes, Trevor Dierkes, Justin Dierkes and Ashley Dierkes; and his siblings-in-law, Alvina Dierkes of Germantown, Stan Holtgrave (Kathy) of St. Rose and Mike Holtgrave (Clarice) of Maryville.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease, or to Mater Dei Catholic High School.
