It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph C. Brueggemann of Germantown, Illinois, born in Breese, Illinois, who passed away on January 29, 2021, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his brother Donald Brueggemann; and his nephew Samuel Sprehe. He is survived by: his sisters, Theresa Laurell (David) of Lansing, MI and Rita Sprehe (David) of Carlyle; his nephews, Sean Laurell (Deanna), Jonathan and Nathan Sprehe; his niece Erica Parris (Brian); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Reese, Regan, Reanna Laurell and Attika Parris.

In lieu of flowers, plants, and other gifts, memorials may be made to Carlyle Health Care Center Activity Fund or St. Boniface Catholic Church and will be received at Moss Funeral Home (535 N. 5th, Breese, IL 62230) who is serving the family.
