The passing of Henrietta M. Albers of Germantown, Illinois, born in Damiansville, Illinois leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on September 13, 2024 at the age of 99. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Spihlmann and Mary Philomena Spihlmann (Neff); her husband Alvin "Abbie" Albers; her daughter Diane Kohrmann; and her siblings, Emelia Heimann (George), Raymond Spihlmann (Ann), Leo Spihlmann (Lou), Bernard Spihlmann (Marie), Richard Spihlmann, Marie Albers (Norbert), Clarence Spihlmann and Dorothy Wiemann (Jim).

She is survived by: her children, Doris Middendorff (Clarence) of New Baden, Michael "Mick" Albers (Geralyn) of Germantown and Leonard "Leo" Albers (Vicki) of Winton, CA; her stepgrandchildren, Justin Layton and Krysten Layton; her son-in-law Joe Kohrmann of Germantown; and her sister-in-law Rosie Spihlmann of Damiansville. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to Shriners Hospital.
