With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Adele F. Gerling (Germantown, Illinois), born in Albers, Illinois, who passed away on April 1, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Benedict; her husband Ervin "Gabby" Gerling; and her sisters-in-law, Andy Lager, Leo Gerling, Grace Gerling, Ceil Lakenburges, Alphonse Lakenburges and Jujena Clark.
She is survived by: her parent Anna; her children, Shirley Gerling of O'Fallon, MO and Randy Gerling (Lynn) of Germantown; her grandchildren, Sierra Knott (Drew), Mackenzie and Nolan Gerling; her sibling Marie Lager of Albers; and also Luebke. She is also survived by married September 28, 1948 at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Albers and he died January 18, 2003; siblings, Ray Book and wife Alice, Dick Book and wife Mary, Ferd Book and wife Bernice, Lawrence Book and wife Martha, Agnes Altgilbers and husband Norbert, Eleanor Voss and husband Leander, Bernadine Haake and husband Leroy, Marcella Vosholler and husband Linus; and brothers-in-law.
