Velma Wernsman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 22, 2021, at the age of 99, Velma Wernsman of Germantown Hills, Illinois, born in Jacksonville, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. Brunk and Cora P. Brunk (Smith); her husband Joseph Edward Wernsman; her daughters, Loraine Wernsman and Donna Bachman; her granddaughter Laura Wernsman; her great grandchild Alex; and her great great grandchild Raylin.
She is survived by: her sons, Joe Wernsman (Kathy) of Germantown Hills and Bill Wernsman (Barbara) of Jacksonville, IL. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; and fourteen great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Midwest Affiliate, 530 NE Glen Oak Avenue, Peoria, IL 61637.
