It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Gross of Germantown Hills, Illinois, born in Metamora, Illinois, who passed away on March 11, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Bachman and Mattie Bachman (Reeser); her husband Justus I. Gross; and her stepsiblings, Richard, Allan, Paul and Eileen.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Durst (Thomas) of Germantown Hills; her grandchildren, Melissa Durst of Chicago, IL and Bradley Durst (Jacqueline) of Columbus, OH; her great grandchildren, Jackson and Camden Durst; and her siblings, Minerva Reeb of Metamora, Russell Bachman (Ferne) of Washington and Orpha Schertz of Metamora. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID-19, CDC guidelines will be followed.
