She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Ligon and Mary Myers Ligon; and her husband James Tharp. She is survived by: her daughter Marian Hull (Steve) of Germantown Hills, IL; and her granddaughters, Sydni Gauwitz (Jeff) of Washington, IL and Jen Becker (Brian) of Washington, IL. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
