He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert E. Maier and Jean Maier (Hartwick); and his brother Michael Maier. He is survived by: his wife Carol Siders; his son Britton Maier (Ann) of Mason, OH; his granddaughters, Elizabeth, Katherine and Abigail; and also Susan Roberts (Boyd) of Winfield, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Illinois Cancer Care Center or St. Jude Midwest Affiliate.
