She was predeceased by: her parents, Benno Wernsman and Kathleen Wernsman (Montz); her former husband Kenneth J. Sharick; and her husband Donald "Doc" Fandel. She is survived by: her children, Stanley Sharick (Patricia) of Germantown Hills and Kathleen Thompson (Rodney) of Metamora; her grandchildren, Angie Menke (Kevin), James Thompson (Jennifer), Stephanie Schumacher (Jared), Michael Thompson (Ashley), Matthew Sharick and Monica Sharick (Aaron Peters); and her siblings, Benno, Jr. Wernsman (Edna) of Germantown Hills, Bob Wernsman (Linda) of Germantown Hills, Phillip Wernsman (Sandy) of Rockford, IL and Carol Miller (Denny) of East Peoria. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, 8630 State Route 91, Peoria, IL 61615.
