He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schaidle and Clara Schaidle (Schneider); and his wife Geraldine A. "Gerri" Peterson. He is survived by: his children, Paul Seppelt of Morton, IL, Valerie Kennedy (Kevin) of Germantown Hills and Becky Mueller (Paul) of Germantown Hills; his grandchildren, Nicole Schieber (Brian), Nathan Seppelt (Toni), Joseph Kennedy, Luke Kennedy, Kathleen Kennedy, Hailey Thompson (Gage), Hannah Mueller and Elizabeth Mueller; and his siblings, Joe Schaidle of Metamora, Hildagard Haedicke of East Peoria and Walter Schaidle (Pat) of Metamora. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home, 8630 State Route 91, Peoria, IL 61615.
