He was predeceased by: his mother Charlene M. Wernsman (Wagner); his daughter Shae Wernsman; and his brother Paul Wernsman. He is survived by: his father Robert A. Wernsman (Linda) of Germantown Hills; his wife Gayle M. Ramoley of Germantown Hills; his children, Sarah Wernsman (Joe Astle) of Germantown Hills, Dan Wernsman of Germantown Hills, Derek Wernsman (Erika Harrison) of East Peoria, Ashley Wernsman (Ryan Powell) of Germantown Hills and Jessica Wernsman of Germantown Hills; his grandchildren, Isabella Wernsman, Olivia Pfister, Mariah Wernsman-Powell, Alexis Astle, Aria Wernsman, Grayson Wernsman-Powell and Finley Astle; and his brothers, Brian Wernsman (Debbie) of Germantown Hills and Keith Wernsman (Kriss) of Germantown Hills.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Mason Funeral Home Germantown Hills Chapel (375 Old Germantown Rd, Germantown Hills, IL 61548). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the St. Mary of Lourdes Cemetery (424 Lourdes Church Rd, Metamora, IL 61548).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Germantown Hills Fire Protection District, 313 Prairie Avenue, Germantown Hills, IL 61548.
