She is survived by: her son Shawn Buhr (Genna) of Germantown Hills; her grandsons, Alex and Charlie Buhr; her sisters, Kim Cross (Robert) and Michelle Spicer (Russ); and her sisters-in-law, Dee Day and Dawn Hostetler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and three great-nephews.

Memorials can be made to Central Illinois Riding Therapy "CIRT" or the Greater Peoria Honor Flight.
