It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin T. Stykel of German Valley, Illinois, who passed away on July 22, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tybo Stykel and Kathryn Stykel (Viel); and his siblings, Harm Stykel and Elizabeth Rust. He is survived by: his wife Birdine Stykel; his children, Michael Stykel of Rockford, IL, Scott Stykel (Linda) of Freeport, IL, Lori Tessendorf of Chandler, AZ and Darin Stykel (Jessica) of Freeport, IL; his grandchildren, Jennica Tessendorf (Anthony Scott), Kirstin Schenck (Dalton), Alex Stykel, Kate Stykel, Cole Stykel and Ty Stykel; and his great grandchildren, Trace Scott, Athena Schneck and Liam Schneck.
Due to the COVID19 Pandemic a luncheon/celebration of life will be set for a later date.
A memorial has been established in his memory.
