It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James R. Weckerly of German Valley, Illinois, born in Columbus, Ohio, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Weckerly and Ruth Weckerly (Lamm); and his sister Anne Fusco. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Jean Mullen of German Valley; his daughters, Veronica Koester (John) of Monroe, Angela Hawkins (Gail Myers) of Monroe and Kristen Koelling (Christopher); his sister Nancy Roberts of DeKalb; his half-sister Lily Weckerly of Torrance, California; and his grandchildren, Austin Myers and Olivia Koelling.
A memorial has been established in Mr. Weckerly's memory.
