She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father George Saar; her husband Ken; her children, Natalie Haas (Nate), Mike Ross (Deb) and Alison Glendenning (Ryan); her grandchildren, Alaina, Hunter, Parker, Mark, Adley, Luke, Zach and Bristol; her mother Ida Saar-Hutchison; and her siblings, Larry Saar (Barb), David Saar (Anna), Barb Saar (Brian Sneed), Mary Meier (Nate) and Laurie Ludolph.
A memorial has been established in Catherine's memory for Serenity Hospice and Home in Oregon, IL and Rock House Kids in Rockford, IL.
