With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wanda Joan Barney of Georgetown, Illinois, who passed away on December 19, 2021 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William C Johnson and Gladys Johnson (Cook); her husband Joseph Barney Jr.; her parents-in-law, Joseph and Nina Barney (Hanson); her sisters, Edna Hewes (Jack), Iris "Bert" Jones (Joseph) and Patricia Songer (Roy); her nephew Thomas Wayne Barney; her great-nephew Tyler Barney; and also Tammy Lee Wood (Barney).
She is survived by: her children, Kathryn Jackson (Gary) of Ridge Farm, IL, William Barney (Balinda) of Patoka, IN, Susan Scott (Michael) of Georgetown, IL and Jeffery Barney (Darla) of Georgetown, IL; her grandchildren, Tabitha Starns (Jason) of Ridge Farm, IL, Sara Spesard (Jeromy) of Ridge Farm, IL, Lacy Leeman (Jeremy) of Ridge Farm, IL, Matthew Scott (Sonce), Randy Scott of Georgetown, IL, Jade Barney (Emily) of Princeton, IN, Lance Barney (Aly) of Princeton, IN, Cory Tintorri (Elizabeth Bartzis) of Georgetown, IL and Kristen Glidewell of Georgetown, IL; her great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Madilyn Spesard, Calen, Kenslee Leeman, MaCaulen, Tanner, Layten, Joseph, Rylan Starns, Lucas, Daniel, Maggie, Easton Scott, Saylor Hibler, Natali Pickett, Finley, Cambriel, Liam, Rhys, Remington, Briar Barney, Cierra King (Jon), Mercedes Glidewell, Cali Waggoner, Chance, Chase Glidewell and Karson Tintorri; her great great grandchildren, Gunner, Brantley King and Kyn; her brothers-in-law, Terry Barney (Carol) and Owen Barney (Amy) of Westville, IL; and her cousins, Irene and Bob Baity of Bismarck, IL.
