He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Emerick and Irene Emerick (Balding); and his significant other Diana Emerick (Luther). He is survived by: his siblings, Terry Emerick (Sheila) of Cottonwood, AL. and Lois Shonk of Marshall, IL.; his sister-in-law Belva Drake of Georgetown, IL; his sister Janice Throckmartin (Ron) of Paris, IL.; and his siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Russell Bill Davis, Alice, Rick Dailey, Betty, Arlie Neaville, Sheryl Luther and Steve Drake. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sunset's Houghton Leasure Funeral Home (200 E West St, Georgetown, IL 61846). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
