He was predeceased by: his parents, William Austin and Virginia Austin (Glen); his children, Carl "Bucky" Austin and Virginia; and his siblings, William, Verle Austin and Felicia Austin.

He is survived by: his wife Teri Austin; and his children, Teresa Hall (Michael), Milton G. Austin (Misty), Harvey Austin (Debbie Maciejewski), Wilmarie Austin, Jennifer Carter (Natalie Lyons) and Chase Carter (Leticia Cisneros). He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, sister in laws, nieces, nephews, friends.
