She was predeceased by: her brother Kenneth "Pete" Patterson; and her husband Vearl "Pete" Montgomery. She is survived by: her daughters, Shelli Pettigrew of Westville, Kris Knight of Danville, Karla Knight of Chrisman and Jill Tucker of Georgia; her sister Charlotte Markle of Ridge Farm; and her grandchildren, Shawna Blakeney, Sara Paxton, Misti Knight, Michael Knight, Jessie Knight, Warren Richards, Kayla Knight, Nikkia Tucker, Tessa Tucker and ChiAnne Mosley.
Memorial donations may be given to her family to help with final expenses.
