He was predeceased by: his parents, John "J. T." Langston and Vada "Evelyn" Langston (Joanne); and his siblings, Tim Langston, Susan Langston, Cindy Langston and Shirley Crain.
He is survived by: his wife Alice "Joanne" Bogart; his children, Tammy Wagoner (Scott) and L. Tyler Langston, Jr. (Heather); his grandchildren, Amanda McCoy (Josh), Joanna Langston (James), Courtney Parrish and Aden Hinote-Langston (El); his siblings, Steve Langston, Glinda Whitham, Kathy Shoemaker (Perry), Connie Pickering (Alan) and Marilyn Singley; his daughters, Vicky Garland (Jeff), Brenda Snook (Becky) and Patty Snook; and his close friend Ed Kirkpatrick. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
